Messaging and Concurrency in Your Applications Using Spring
Most Spring-based applications utilize a design based on layering. When using the standard layered application approach, the service layer is commonly used to encapsulate reusable, business-specific logic. Furthermore, communication between these services has taken place via synchronous method invocations.
